SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — With Halloween approaching Saturday, Oct. 31, the South Orange Police Department is urging drivers to slow down and stay alert.
In an Oct. 27 Facebook post, police warned that Halloween brings more children into neighborhoods, often after dark.
Costumes can also make children harder for motorists to see.
"Slow down, stay alert, and never drive impaired. Help everyone get home safely," the police department said.
