SPRINGFIELD, NJ — The Springfield Recreation Department is bringing back Swift Learn AI for a series of artificial intelligence classes at the Chisholm Community Center, running four consecutive Fridays from May 29 through June 19.
Classes are offered for three age groups, with registration closing May 27.
Children ages 9 to 13 will use AI tools to build an app of their choice — a homework helper, day planner, or video game — and present their creations to parents at a final show-and-tell session. Classes run 5 to 6:20 p.m.; cost is $190.
Teens ages 14 to 18 will explore AI tools for hobbies, education, and entrepreneurship, covering everything from the Google Suite to music and video creation. Classes run 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.; cost is $160.
Adults 18 and older will get a 30-minute demonstration of AI applications for personal and professional use each session, followed by Q&A and an optional hands-on workshop. Classes run 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.; cost is $160.
All participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and an AI subscription — Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT. For questions, call (917) 519-9094 or email contact@swiftlearn.ai.
