SPRINGFIELD, NJ — The Springfield Board of Education earlier this month awarded a contract for renovation work at the Jonathan Dayton High School.
The board award a $788,000 contract to Drill Construction Co., Inc. on June 1 after receiving five competitive bids in May.
The renovations fall under the district’s bond‑funded referendum, meaning no additional local tax levy is required for the planned work.
The high school will undergo a series of interior renovations, specifics on the project and timeline have not been released at this time.
