SPRINGFIELD, NJ — A Perth Amboy man was arrested after police investigated a reported theft at a hotel in Springfield, authorities said.
According to the Springfield Police Department, the incident was reported at a Route 22 hotel, where officers conducted a follow-up investigation through the department’s Detective Bureau.
Police said the investigation resulted in a 29-year-old Perth Amboy man being charged with theft of movable property.
Authorities did not release additional details about what was taken, the value of the property involved, or what led investigators to identify the suspect.
The investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
