SPRINGFIELD, NJ — A 30-year-old Orange man was arrested after police said an officer spotted a vehicle connected to a reported shoplifting incident at a Springfield pharmacy.
The incident happened July 2 when an officer on patrol on Morris Avenue saw a vehicle matching the description of one involved in an earlier shoplifting report at a Morris Avenue pharmacy, according to police.
Police said the officer stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as the person connected to the reported theft.
The man was charged with receiving stolen property and theft, as well as outstanding warrants from Hanover and Bergen, police said.
No additional details were released about what was taken from the pharmacy or the value of the items involved.
