• Wi‑Fi Installed at Newly Opened Oakland Park in Springfield; BID to Provide Streetscape Upgrades (tapinto.net) — Springfield residents can now enjoy free public Wi‑Fi at the newly opened Oakland Park, part of a broader makeover with new sidewalks, lighting, and seating. The Springfield Business Improvement District is also planning a major streetscape expansion along South Springfield Avenue to extend the park's look and improve safety and aesthetics for nearby businesses and pedestrians.
