Angie Is Springfield's Pet Of The Week

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Meet Angie! She has been chosen as Springfield Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"This is Angie. I was never a dog person. But this one stole my heart. Every person and pet in the Evergreen/Surrey/Twin Oaks section knows Angie because she has to say hi to everyone on her walks.

Even though she’s small, she protects her pack. Sometimes I think, she thinks, she’s human. Her favorite things to do are hold squirrels hostage on utility poles and hop around the backyard."

Do you think your pet should be Springfield's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo or video of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
