The Arc of Union County Hosts Summer Fundraiser

The Arc's Wine and Cheese Tasting will raise funds for programs, including a new music therapy initiative for people with disabilities.

Who/What: The Arc of Union County’s 8th Annual Wine & Cheese Tasting: Join us for an evening of wine, cheese, craft beer, locally made rum, and light Hors d'oeuvres and desserts. New this year: Silent Auction!

When: Saturday, June 11, 4-7 p.m.

Where: Liberty Hall Museum, Kean University; 1003 Morris Avenue, Union NJ

Why: To raise money for The Arc’s programs, including a new music therapy initiative, following successful implementation of a fitness center and soon-to-open library and digital arts program. The Arc of Union County serves more than 1,000 adults and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities (I/DD). The Arc of Union County was founded in 1949 by parents of children with disabilities. Today The Arc serves the community through The Arc Kohler School of Mountainside, Early Intervention, The Arc Family Center including Camp Star and respite/recreational services, Residential Services, Employment services, and Adult Day programming.
