Billy Bobble and His Magic Wand Return!
Sequel to provocative, entertaining 2014 debut uses magic to tackle real world challenges
Springfield, NJ – What if all the turmoil going on in the world lately could be traced to a rift forming between our world and the Quantum Realm?
For Billy Bobble and his best friend Suzy Quinofski, it’s hard enough to be thirteen in high school without having to fight evil at every turn, but it’s even harder to do that while trying to get their memory back from a magic spell cast by a villainous physics teacher. Even without their memories, Billy and Suzy know something is not right. Their textbooks have been changed, their parents aren’t acting right, their teachers are afraid, and Billy and Suzy are in each other’s dreams. But when their history teacher is fired during class for answering a question from their dreams, Billy and Suzy get their memories back. Soon they realize that evil has been unleashed upon the human race, and only the two of them, their friends, and their families can stop it.
Billy Bobble and the Witch Hunt, the sequel to the entertaining and well-received debut novel by R.S. Mellette, Billy Bobble Makes a Magic Wand, follows Billy and Suzy as they deal with the dangers of the world – both theirs and the Quantum World – and face their most challenging enemy so far!

Author R.S. Mellette cut his literary teeth as a writer’s assistant on Xena: Warrior Princess, a 1990s television show that has become a cult classic. Among the lessons he learned writing for television was the value of writing for all ages. Indeed, Billy Bobble and the Witch Hunt, like its predecessor, fits that bill. Although the lead characters are barely teenagers, they’re mixing with students several years their senior and partnering with teachers against federal employees (who sometimes bicker like kindergartners.)
"Billy and Suzy created magic in a world just like ours. In book one, Evil gets a strong foothold in a world just like ours. This has happened in the past, both in their world and ours. It will happen again in the future. Some say it's happening now. Billy and Suzy have magic at their disposal, but what they really learn is that, in the battle against Evil, knowledge is power."

Billy Bobble and the Witch Hunt is the first sequel published by Elephant’s Bookshelf Press, LLC, (http://www.elephantsbookshelfpress.com), the independent publisher noted for helping talented authors gain valuable publishing experience. “From the beginning, R.S. has looked to write stories that, while targeting kids, also appeal to readers who appreciate provocative stories that make them think,” said EBP publisher Matt Sinclair. “In Billy and Suzy, we find smart kids who aren’t afraid of being themselves, even if it makes them the butt of jokes and prone to bullying. I also love that in this latest work, the students partner with their teachers to make a difference. Frankly, I think the world is better off with a bit of magic in it.”
