Bruno Is Springfield's Pet Of The Week

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Meet Bruno! He has been chosen as Springfield Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"My name is Tricia and I’d like to nominate my dog, Bruno, for pet of the week. I am the Office Manager for the Michael Scalera Insurance Agency/State Farm Insurance on Morris Ave in Springfield.

Bruno is my dog and also an employee of ours. He goes to work every Friday except if its raining!

He loves going to work and takes his job of barking at nasty customers and cuddling nice customers very seriously.

On his down time in the office he likes to nap on the desk or bother other employees for a bite of their lunch.

Bruno is one and a half years old and 7lbs of pure love and also very intelligent for his kind which makes him a great addition to our office. Everybody loves Bruno!"

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
