Children's Book Sale at Springfield Library July 11-13

The Friends of the Springfield Free Public Library hold their Children's Book Sale Monday-Wednesday, July 11-13, 10 am-4 pm. The sale will include hard and soft cover Children's Books, Educational Games and Toys, and Puzzles. There will be CD's, DVD's, Play Station games, and Talking Books for all ages. Also for sale will be a sampling of Costume Jewelry. New this year, the Friends are offering for sale, attractive note cards that were last available in 1979. These french fold note cards are 10 to a box and have an artistic drawing of the entrance of Springfield Library. The cards will cost $10/box and members of the Friends may buy 3 for $25. Now is the time to renew your Friends membership. New members are always welcome and memberships start at $10. The Sale is being held in the Library's Lobby Meeting room, located at 66 Mountain Ave. All proceeds from the Sale go to support Library Programs and Services.

The Library's Youth Services staff have several special programs planned for children during the sale period in addition to the usual Summer Reading Program.
