Elvis Is Springfield's Pet Of The Week

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Meet Elvis! He has been chosen as Springfield Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Elvis Presley is a lively cat who loves to bird watch out the window, jump in boxes and rip up Trader Joe's bags.

He also loves sleeping stretched out right across the bed so no one else can fit in it! Elvis shows his affection by holding hands with his humans and giving sweet little head buts!

He even has his own Instagram @ElvisPresleyKitten. Elvis lives in Troy Village, Springfield."

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
