Laughter is a great aphrodisiac, and unlike oysters and green M&M's, it won't give you food poisoning or make you fat. So take your date to The Comedy Cove at Scotty's Pub this weeekend for a Great Show starring Brian McKim & Traci Skene. These two know a little something about Comedy & Romance. They're married. McKim met Skene working the circuit in Philadelphia in the '80's and a few years later they got hitched and went on the road together. (They also co-write the excellent online comedy Journal Shecky Magazine). McKim doles out rapid-fire jokes with a deadpan delivery, while the more expressive Skene is all wry grins and sarcasm. They've toured all50 states, been featured numerous times on TV, and have gently acerbic but clearly differentiated styles that wonderfully compliment each other though McKim and Skene don't go onstage together. "Doing some sort of duet is an entirely different animal than a solo act, and something we've never put any energy into trying to figure out," McKim Says. "My wife likes to say that the 40 minutes she spends onstage is the only time she gets away from me.
