Bob Dibuono & Doug Karpf are both headlining the Comedy Cove this weekend with Rob Epple as your Emcee.
Bob DiBuono his life is his canvas, and through his creative sensibilities and imagination he paints us with his brilliant colors". Bob DiBuono's comedic perspective finds the fodder and silliness in ourselves and our existence through the vibrant characters and voices he illustrates for his audience. His unique ability to embody abstract personas along with his child-like playfulness provide a landscape for great comedy leaving an audience feeling connected to his world. Bob's honesty and self awareness into his own shortcomings and life's challenges makes him accessible to all of us. Growing up in a family with anxiety disorders and addiction, bob has used the stage as a vehicle to parody these events and the world around him. Bob was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Danbury, CT with his mom, dad and sister. Bob attributes his sense of humor to his mother, and his hard work ethic and discipline to his dad. Bob DiBuono has provided his voices, impressions and characters to MTV Europe, E! Entertainment, "Good Day New York", Galavicion's "Comedy Picante", Pax Television and WNEW's "Opie and Anthony" Show. Bob is currently working in clubs in NY and around the Northeast Region.
Doug Karpf is a quick witted comedian, known for his rapid punch lines and hilarious improvisations. Much of his inspiration comes from being a father and husband living day to day in Springfield, N.J. Having mastered the skill of finding humor in everyday life, he brings an unmistakable charismatic presence to the stage that leaves viewers roaring with laughter and saying to each other " I know EXACTLY what he's talking about!". No matter his audience, he engages the crowd and always delivers laughs. Doug performs at clubs throughout the country and has performed for the United States Armed Forces. Doug's credits include Rascal's, Caesar's, Resorts, Catch a Rising Star, Broadway Comedy Club to name a few.
