Newark woman faces up to six years in prison, report says.

A Newark woman admitted Tuesday she drove the getaway car during two bank robberies in Parsippany in Springfield in 2013 and said she used the money to Christmas gifts for her son.

According to nj.com, Quiama Harris, 30, pleaded guilty to her role in the robberies on Dec. 18, 2013 at Investors Savings Bank in Springfield, and the Dec. 23, 2013 robbery of Santander Bank in Parsippany.

Harris admitted to entering each bank to purchase money orders prior to her co-defendant, Avery Spotswood, actually robbing the businesses, the report said. Spotswood pleaded guilty last November.
