Hoopla service at the Springfield Public Library

Springfield Public Library invites its cardholders to check out a digital service called Hoopla

The Springfield Free Public Library invites its cardholders to check out a digital service called Hoopla, and take advantage of rapid streaming access to more than 500,000 titles at the click of a mouse or the tap of a touchscreen. Springfield residents can use their computers, tablets or phones to stream desired items immediately or to download items to be enjoyed later. New items are being added on a regular basis and the current breakdown of content includes nearly 280,000 music selections, almost 192,000 ebooks, approximately 44,000 audiobooks, more than 15,000 movies, more than 10,000 comics, and about 1,600 TV shows. Every Springfield library cardholders may access up to five Hoopla items each and every month.

Items available through Hoopla can be looked up in the library's regular catalog which can be accessed through our webpage at www.springfieldpubliclibrary.com. Clicking on the Hoopla icon on the left side of the catalog search page will take you through the quick and easy Hoopla sign up process. When identifying your home library, please be sure to select Springfield Free Public Library from the drop down menu and remember to have your library card and PIN ready. The entire registration process takes approximately 30 seconds.
