Jersey Cash 5 Jackpot Ticket Sold In Union County

UNION, NJ — Check your tickets. A Jersey Cash 5 ticket winning the $260,597 jackpot was sold in Union County.

The lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn from the Saturday, Jan. 5 drawing and was sold at Triangle Liquors, 1406 Burnett Ave., in Union.

The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The winning numbers were: 7, 12, 18, 23 and 31 and the XTRA number was: 3.

"We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Triangle Liquors," Acting Executive Director James Carey said. "Overnight, they have become one more 'lucky location' for the very fortunate lottery winner."

A total of 345,155 tickets were purchased for the drawing.
