The Lunchtime Film Series Continues at Springfield Free Public Library

Monday, August 1st at 1:00 PM.

It's the end of summer, 1962. Teens are having their last bit of fun. Some are college-bound (Ron Howard, Richard Dreyfuss), on dates (Charles Martin Smith, Candy Clark), or drag racing (Paul Le Mat, Harrison Ford). Wolfman Jack plays tunes on the radio, and they all ponder their futures. Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas got this made in the days before Star Wars. It became 1973's third biggest hit, establishing Lucas and his young cast. 110 minutes. Rated PG.
