The Lunchtime Film Series Continues at Springfield Free Public Library

Songsmith Cole Porter (Kevin Kline) was living a charmed life in 1918 when he met Linda Thomas (Ashley Judd), an American in Paris at the end of her marriage. The two became friends and eventually wed, though Porter was gay. Their partnership, likewise, proved happy but strained. All the while Porter's star rose on Broadway and Hollywood. His fame would come at a price however. De-Lovely features Diana Krall, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette, Elvis Costello, Robbie Williams, Mick Hucknall, and others singing Porter's songs. 125 minutes. Rated PG-13.
