The Lunchtime Film Series Continues at Springfield Free Public Library

Eilis Lacey (Saoirse Ronan) is an Irish immigrant starting anew in 1950s Brooklyn. Lured by the promise of America, she departs Ireland and the comfort of her home for the shores of New York. Though lonely at first, she soon meets and falls in love with a young Italian (Emory Cohen). However, their attachment is cut short when Eilis must return to Ireland. Now she is forced to choose between the two countries and her lives in each. 111 minutes. Rated PG-13.
