Linklater followed his landmark Before Sunrise (1995) with this sequel. Nine years ago, Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) spent a night together in Vienna. Jesse has written a book about the encounter and reunites with Celine while touring Europe. Together, they walk around Paris and discuss their day-to-day lives, relationships, and lingering feelings for one another. 80 minutes. Rated R.
