Lunchtime Film Series at Springfield Public Library

This is James Marsh's biopic of physicist Stephen Hawking. Enrolled as a graduate student at Cambridge, Hawking (Eddie Redmayne) is positioned to become one of the leading minds of his generation. Here he also meets his future wife Jane (Felicity Jones). After an early breakthrough, Hawking is diagnosed with ALS, and becomes less and less able to control his own body. However with Jane by his side he continues his work, sometimes at the expense of their marriage. 123 minutes. Rated PG-13.
