People who have never played mahjong before but are interested in learning the game are invited to attend a new round of classes being offered by the Springfield Free Public Library. The classes are scheduled from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Tuesday afternoons, beginning on January 3. These classes will be taught by volunteers and are free and open to all members of the general public.
People who already know how to play mah jongg are invited to join the library’s mah jongg players club that meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 8:45 PM, beginning January 4. Participation in this group is also free and open to all members of the general public.
