Saint James the Apostle School 8th Graders Receive over $400,000 to Local Catholic High Schools
Eight Catholic high schools grant Class of 2017 scholarship money.

As of March 1, 2017, Saint James the Apostle School’s Class of 2017 has been awarded over $400,000 in scholarship funds to local area Catholic high schools.
Saint James students were awarded scholarships to the following Catholic high schools:
· Mother Seton Regional High School

· Oratory Preparatory School

· Roselle Catholic High School
· Seton Hall Preparatory School
· St. Mary of the Assumption High School
· St. Peter’s Preparatory School
· Union Catholic High School
“Our 8th graders continue to make us so very proud. They work hard and it shows in their accomplishments. What is even more gratifying is the fact that many of our graduating students have chosen to continue their education at Catholic high schools,” said Mrs. Caroline Ponterio, Principal. “Their commitment to their faith, pursuit of knowledge and service to others will continue.”
Saint James the Apostle School is a Middle States accredited school and has been serving the parishioners of Saint James the Apostle Church in Springfield and surrounding communities since 1953. Saint James the Apostle School offers students from PreK-3 through grade eight a Roman Catholic faith-based education which acknowledges each child's individual ability to achieve their fullest potential academically, socially, and spiritually.
