Saint James the Apostle School Eighth Graders Win Roselle Catholic Scholastic Olympics

Ten students place in their subject areas to boost the school to its overall win!

Congratulations to the 8th graders at Saint James the Apostle School for winning first place overall at Roselle Catholic High School’s 44th Annual Scholastic Olympics! The competition drew approximately twelve Catholic elementary schools from Union and Essex Counties. Seven students placed 1st, two students placed 2nd, and one student placed third. Each 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner received a $1,500 scholarship for their freshman year, if they decide to attend Roselle Catholic High School, for a school total of $15,000 in scholarships. Saint James will also have its name added to the engraved winner’s trophy and be able to display the trophy at school until next year. The school is so proud of their accomplishment, especially the way the class supported each other leading up to and throughout the competition. Saint James the Apostle School offers students from PreK-3 through grade 8 a Roman Catholic faith-based education which acknowledges each child’s individual ability to achieve their fullest potential academically, socially, and spiritually.
