Springfield Architect Named Secretary for AIA-NJ
John Cwikla is the project architect with Potter Architects LLC, based in Union where he is helping to design a variety of projects

Springfield, NJ -- Springfield resident, John A. Cwikla, has been named as The New Jersey Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA-NJ)’s new secretary.
Cwikla was installed during AIA-NJ’s annual awards gala at the Park Savoy in Florham Park.
He has been an active member of AIA-NJ for 20 years and has served in several organization committees.

Cwikla is currently a project architect with Potter Architects LLC, a third-generation architectural firm based in Union where he is helping to design a variety of municipal, school, and private projects.
A LEED-accredited professional, Cwikla also serves as the firm’s in-house Information Technology Director.

“After dedicating many years assisting with the development of my local Newark and Suburban Architects section, I’m honored to accept this leadership position at AIA-NJ’s state level,” comments Mr. Cwikla. “It is my goal to ensure that this organization continues to support the career growth of its members, while supporting the broader reverence and awareness of the architectural profession.”
