Springfield To Conduct Storm Debris Brush Collection: What To Know
The collection is limited to brush and tree debris caused by the recent storm.
SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Springfield Township will provide a special curbside collection of storm-related brush following the severe storm that struck the area on July 3.
The collection is limited to brush and tree debris caused by the storm. Branches must be no more than 5 feet in length and 10 inches in diameter to be eligible for pickup.
Township officials said debris generated by contractors will not be collected, and disposal remains the responsibility of the contractor.

Residents are asked to place eligible debris at the curb no later than Sunday, July 19, while ensuring that storm drains remain clear. Township crews will begin canvassing neighborhoods on July 7, but there is no set schedule for when specific areas will be serviced.
Officials noted that any brush placed at the curb after July 19 will not be collected as part of the special storm cleanup program.
