Springfield Election Guide 2017: Where To Vote, Candidate List
Both local and county races are contested this year in Springfield.

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Tuesday is Election Day. We have compiled a list of all of the candidates running on the local and county level and also a list of polling locations.
Locally there is a contested race in Springfield.
Township Committee:

In Springfield there are three candidates vying for one three-year seats on the township committee.
Republican incumbent Geri Ann Bujnowski is running against newcomers democrat Christopher Capodice and independent Jeff Rosenberg.

Union County Sheriff:
There are two candidates vying for one three-year seat as Union County Sheriff. Current sheriff Joseph Cryan is not running for re-election.
Newcoming candidates include democrat Peter Corvelli of Kenilworth and republican Marc A. Krauss of Springfield.
Union County Freeholder:
On the county level, six candidates vying for three three-year term seats for freeholder.
Democratic incumbents include Angel Estrada of Elizabeth and Christopher Hudak of Linden. Newcomer candidates include democrat Angela R. Garretson of Hillside and republicans Patricia Quattrocchi of Clark, P. Mark Martini of Westfield and Peter B. Lijoi of Summit.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

- District 1: Presbyterian Parish House, 37 Church Mall - Lower level off parking lot
- District 2, 3: Sarah Bailey Civic Center, 30 Church Mall
- District 4: Presbyterian Parish House, 37 Church Mall - Lower level off parking lot
- District 5, 6: James Caldwell School, 36 Caldwell Place - Gymnasium
- District 7, 8, 9: Florence Gaudineer School, 75 South Springfield Ave. - Gymnasium
- District 10, 13, 14: Edward V. Walton School, 601 Mountain Ave. - Gymnasium
- District 11, 12: Thelma Sandmeier School, 666 South Springfield Ave. - Gymnasium
