Springfield Man Arrested For Child Porn Again: U.S. Attorney
Breaking: Sam Cynamon of Springfield previously pleaded guilty to possession of child porn in March 2005 and served 27 months in prison.

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – A Springfield man, who was previously convicted of possessing child pornography, was arrested Monday morning on the same charge, Acting U.S. Attorney William E. Fitzpatrick announced.
Sam Cynamon, 66, is charged by with one count of possession of child pornography. He appeared on July 10 in the afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Leda Dunn Wettre in Newark federal court. He was released on $100,000 unsecured bond.
On Jan. 10, Cynamon used an peer-to-peer website to ask a prepubescent girl to engage in sexually explicit conduct through a webcam video.

On July 10, authorities found multiple computers and electronic storage media at Cynamom's home containing software and multiple images and videos of child pornography, including images of child sexual abuse.
Cynamon previously pleaded guilty in New Jersey federal court to possession of child pornography in March 2005 and was sentenced to 27 months in prison.

As a result of Cynamon’s prior conviction, the charge of possession of child pornography carries a mandatory minimum potential penalty of 10 years in prison, a maximum potential penalty of 20 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine.
