Springfield Man Arrested For DUI In School Zone
Springfield Police also reported making arrests for drug possession, fraud, and shoplifting.

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Springfield Police reported making arrests for drug possession, fraud, shoplifting and DUI.
Springfield Police blotter:
Sept. 19: Officers responded to a Route 22 business on a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. Following an investigation by the Detective Bureau, a 19-year-old Kenilworth woman was charged with criminal mischief and harassment.

Oct 5: Patrol Officers were dispatched to the parking lot of a Route 22 business on a report of two people sleeping in a vehicle. An investigation on scene resulted in a 30-year-old Oxford man and a 29-year-old Flemington woman arrested and charged with possession of narcotics paraphernalia, failure to turn over narcotics to police, and multiple outstanding warrants.
Oct. 9: A report of fraudulent activity was received from a Millburn Avenue bank. Following an investigation by the Detective Bureau, a 55-year-old woman from Marlboro, New York was charged with fraud and theft by deception.

Oct 10: A 21-year-old Springfield man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and driving under the influence within a school zone as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Mountain Avenue.
On Oct. 10: Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at a business on Morris Avenue. A 42-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged with theft and multiple outstanding warrants.
Oct 14: A 49-year-old Roselle man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 22.
Officers made a total of three additional warrant arrests, with two out of Springfield Municipal Court and one out of Irvington.
