Springfield Police To Crack Down On Drunk Drivers

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Springfield Police will be cracking down on drunk and impaired drivers for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Extra officers will be on patrol Wednesday night targeting impaired drivers.

"The Thanksgiving holiday ranks among the top times for drunk driving crashes and arrests. So if you plan on having even one drink, PLEASE use a designated driver or ride share service. Don’t end up as another statistic or risk hurting someone else," Springfield Police Department posted.
