Springfield Police Make Arrest In Burglary Of Business
Springfield Police also made 8 drug-related arrests and 3 driving under the influence arrests, according to the police blotter.
SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Springfield Police reported making one burglary, eight drug-related and three driving under the influence arrests, according to the police blotter.
Springfield Police Blotter:
On March 15: A 23-year-old Elizabeth man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Morris Avenue.

On March 20: A 44-year-old Union man was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and a hypodermic syringe after a patrol officer observed him sleeping in his vehicle while parked in a Morris Avenue lot.
On March 21: Patrol officers were detailed to a hotel on Route 22 on a report of a disorderly guest. A 30-year-old Springfield man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

On March 22: A 36-year-old Springfield woman was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics paraphernalia after being observed sleeping in her vehicle.
On March 23: A 27-year-old Bronx, New York man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Meisel Avenue.
On March 23: A 23-year-old Springfield man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and narcotics paraphernalia as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Morris Avenue.
On March 24: A 25-year-old Madison man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Morris Avenue.
On March 25: A 22-year-old Rahway woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Milltown Road.
On March 25: A 37-year-old Union woman was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Meisel Avenue.
On March 26: As a result of a detective bureau investigation of the burglary of a business on Cornell Parkway, a 55-year-old Newark man was charged with burglary and theft.
On March 27: A 55-year-old Plainfield man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, liquid THC, and narcotics paraphernalia as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 22.
On March 28: As a result of a detective bureau investigation of a report received on Feb. 14, a 45-year-old Telford, Pennsylvania man was charged with harassment.
On March 30: A 25-year-old North Bergen man was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and narcotics paraphernalia on Route 22.
On March 31: A 24-year-old Union man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after being observed driving erratically on Route 22.
Patrol Officers also made a total of six warrant arrests. Three warrants were out of Springfield Municipal Court. The remaining three were out of Essex County, Harrison, and East Brunswick.
