Springfield Township Police Will Host Free Child Seat Inspection Event

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — The Springfield Township Police Department will host a free child seat inspection event this weekend.

Residents can attend on Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chisholm Community Center, 100 South Springfield Avenue.

Certified child passenger safety technicians will be on-site to inspect child safety seats, ensure they are installed correctly, and provide guidance on proper installation to help keep children safe while traveling.

The department encourages parents and caregivers to take advantage of the event to make sure their child's car seat is properly fitted and installed.
