Springfield Travel Basketball Tryout Registration Opens For 2026-27 Season

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Springfield families interested in travel basketball can now sign their children up for tryouts for the upcoming season.

Online registration is open for the Travel Basketball Tryouts for fall 2026 and winter 2027, according to Springfield Township.

Tryouts are being offered for Nettes Travel Teams for girls in grades 4-8 and Minutemen Travel Teams for boys in grades 4-8.

Children must be registered online by Sunday, Oct. 4, at 11:59 p.m. Registration is available through Springfield's Community Pass.

Both online registration and attendance at tryouts are required for a child to be considered for a travel team, according to the township.

For now, Springfield is offering travel tryouts only. The township said additional information will follow once players, fees, gym locations, coaches and uniforms are finalized.
