Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends In Crash In Springfield, 2 Apprehended: Police
Union officers were pursuing the stolen car when it crashed. Springfield, Millburn and Union police coordinated to apprehend.
SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Two people fled on foot after a stolen vehicle crashed near the intersection of Morris Avenue and Meisel Avenue in Union during a police pursuit Monday afternoon, the Springfield Police Department said.
Union police were pursuing the stolen vehicle when the driver attempted to flee and lost control, causing the crash, according to Springfield police. Both occupants exited the vehicle and ran from the scene.
Officers from the Springfield, Millburn and Union police departments coordinated to apprehend both individuals shortly after.
