SWAT Team Dispatched To Springfield Apartment Complex

The Union County Emergency Response SWAT team has been dispatched to the Villa Apartments in Springfield to reach a barricaded “suspect” located in the complex, according to Myfox9.

A neighbor told nj.com that he witnessed about 15 police officers show up to the area before 9 a.m. this morning and that police have been to the apartment complex, located on Springfield Avenue, multiple times this week.

The man has reportedly barricaded himself alone in the building and police have closed down roads leading to the complex - story developing.
