A Union County man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and having $600 worth of cocaine following a traffic stop: Police
PLAINFIELD, NJ — A Union County man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and having $600 worth of cocaine following a traffic stop, authorities said.
On Sunday, May 5 at 3:04 a.m. New Jersey State Police Trooper Kyle Morley stopped Carlos Hernandez-Pacheco, 46, of Plainfield for a traffic violation southbound on the New Jersey Turnpike at milepost 39.5 in Mount Laurel Township, NJSP reported.
Hernandez-Pacheco was found to be under the influence and arrested for DWI. During the stop, Morley also found that Hernandez-Pacheco had $600 worth of cocaine, NJSP said.

Carlos Hernandez-Pacheco was charged with possession cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and DWI. He was released pending a future court date.
