Winning Powerball Lottery Ticket Sold in Union County

A $50,000 winning New Jersey Powerball Lottery ticket for the Wednesday, Oct. 26 drawing ​was sold in Union County.

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — A $50,000 winning New Jersey Powerball Lottery ticket for the Wednesday, Oct. 26 drawing was sold in Union County.

The winning third-tier prize ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn. The winning numbers were: 02, 03, 16, 48 and 56. The Red PowerBall number was 24. The Multiplier number was 02.

The ticket was sold in at 7-Eleven #33256 (N), 205 US Highway 22 in Springfield.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $180,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, Oct. 29 at 10:59 p.m.

In addition to the third-tier prizewinning ticket sold, there were 28,529 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $142,050 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.
