SUMMIT, NJ — A free pet show is coming to Summit, giving local animals and their owners a chance to take the spotlight on the Village Green.
The Summit Department of Community Programs will host the annual Police Athletic League Pet Show on Saturday, May 9, at 356 Broad St. Registration begins at 1 p.m., with judging set to start at 1:30 p.m., according to a city news release.
The event will feature a dog competition and a separate exhibition for other pets, including cats, reptiles and birds. Prizes will be awarded in each category, along with a Best in Show honor at the end of the event.
