SUMMIT, NJ — Summit residents have until Tuesday to register to vote in New Jersey’s June 2 Primary Election, with the city clerk’s office extending hours to help last-minute voters.
The Clerk’s Office at Summit City Hall, 512 Springfield Ave., will remain open until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, according to city officials.
Residents can also check their voter registration status online through Union County election resources.
Officials are also reminding voters that mail-in ballot applications must be submitted by May 26. Early in-person voting across Union County is scheduled to begin May 26 and continue through May 31.
Election Day is Tuesday, June 2, with polls open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
