• Anderson Field House Reopens as New Home for Summit Student-Athletes (tapinto.net) — Summit Public Schools have officially reopened the newly renovated Anderson Field House at Tatlock Park, now the main home base for Summit High School athletes. The $37.4 million bond project delivers modern locker rooms, training spaces, and energy-efficient systems while honoring legendary coach Howie Anderson and closing out years of district-wide athletic and academic upgrades.    

• Local Event: Common Ground: NJ Artists Think Monumental: New Jersey Arts Annual 2026 (patch.com) — A Summit-based artist, Sunil Garg, is among 91 New Jersey creators chosen for the 2026 “Common Ground: NJ Artists Think Monumental” outdoor arts annual running May 28–August 23. The juried show will turn an eight-acre museum campus into an open-air gallery, showcasing large-scale works that respond to light, weather, and the landscape.
