Downed Wire Closes Part Of Pine Grove Avenue In Summit

SUMMIT, NJ — A section of Pine Grove Avenue is closed Saturday due to a downed wire, city police said.

Pine Grove Avenue is currently closed between Colony Drive and Glen Oaks Avenue while crews respond to the situation.

Police also warned that residents in the surrounding neighborhood may experience power disruptions. Utility crews from JCP&L are expected to respond.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until the roadway reopens.
