Junior League of Summit Spreads Positivity One Cup at a Time for "Find the Good Day"

The Junior League of Summit (JLS) proudly announces its local participation in International "Find the Good Day," a global movement dedicated to highlighting optimism, kindness, and community resilience. To celebrate, JLS members have hand-decorated 1,000 coffee sleeves featuring heartfelt, uplifting messages of kindness to brighten the daily routines of our friends, neighbors, and community members. On Thursday, September 17th, these custom-embellished sleeves will be distributed across four partner coffee shops throughout the area, including Crew and TM Ward in Chatham, Serra Doce in Summit, and Café Luna in New Providence. Each sleeve features handwritten notes of encouragement on one side and the official Junior League of Summit logo stamp on the reverse. "Find the Good Day is a reminder that small acts of kindness can happen every single day," said Samantha Sheridan, Executive VP of the Junior League of Summit. "By partnering with local neighborhood coffee shops, we hope to spark an unexpected moment of joy and ignite a chain of positivity over a simple cup of coffee." "This day celebrates what happens when people unite around a shared purpose. When someone raises a hand to help, they're empowering their neighbors, strengthening our community, and proving that positive change begins when each of us chooses to find the good," said Cristina Curiale, President of the Junior League of Summit. Community members who receive a decorated sleeve are encouraged to snap a photo of their uplifting message and share it on social media.
