The student council members at Oratory Prep School in Summit are gearing up to sell Christmas trees on Friday, December 7 and 8. They have set up on the lawn of the Newman Hall building, 14 Bedford at Morris Avenue and will be there from 2 - 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 - 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Evergreen trees fresh from Pennsylvania will be on sale along with grave blankets, roping and wreaths of all sizes.
Mr. Bill Martin, student council adviser at the Roman Catholic School for boys in grades 7 - 12, invites the public to join in the festivities. "Our boys will be happy to secure the tree to your vehicle and help you with your purchases even if you haven't reserved an order."
