Cornerstone School of Summit

Cornerstone School is a nonprofit preschool in Summit, NJ, dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing, play-based learning environment where children grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.

Recently recognized as the Best Preschool in Summit for 2026 based on Google reviews from our families, Cornerstone School is proud to be a trusted part of the Summit community. We are also the first preschool in Summit to earn a Grow NJ Kids Quality Rating, New Jersey’s quality improvement and rating system for early childhood programs. This distinction reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence, professional development, family engagement, and research-based teaching practices.

At Cornerstone School, we believe children learn best through hands-on exploration, meaningful relationships, creativity, and purposeful play. Our classrooms are designed to encourage curiosity, problem-solving, independence, and collaboration while helping children build confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

Cornerstone School currently has limited openings available in our Preschool and PreK programs for Fall 2026. Financial Aid is available.
