New Providence Presbyterian Church

Nick Rossiello will discuss the options available at senior living facilities throughout the Northeast. He is currently sales director at Lantern Hill senior living community.Nick’s career with Erickson Senior Living began at Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains, NJ, in 2004, where he worked with residents as a student server in the on-campus restaurants. After graduating from college, he returned to Cedar Crest to work in the resident life department. He then moved to the sales department, quickly advancing through several roles including sales associate and sales counselor, and worked with the team to welcome hundreds of new residents to the vibrant community. Last year, he joined Lantern Hill as sales manager and was elevated to Director of Sales soon after.
The Summit Area Old Guard is a social, educational, and recreational fellowship of active men of retirement age, founded in 1930. We hear presentations most Tuesday mornings in an auditorium in New Providence, and we have many other activities including discussion groups, sports and outdoor groups, and celebrations. Our dues are minimal, and members volunteer for all aspects of the operation. Our motto is "Come for the programs. Stay for the friends." Guests are always welcome to attend and to learn about our organization.

“Deni Bonet&nbsp;is a dynamic, classically trained violinist who would rather strut around a stage than sit in an orchestra chair. Her style ranges from pop to roots-rock to new folk. She has recorded with Pete Seeger and was a founding member of the house band for National Public Radio’s “Mountain Stage,” where she backed renowned artists as diverse as the Indigo Girls, Richard Thompson, and Allen Toussaint. But Bonet also has performed at the White House and the Great Wall of China, and toured in Cyndi Lauper’s backup band. The Wall Street Journal once described her singular sound as “Sheryl Crow meets The B-52s.” Her musical partner, guitarist&nbsp;Chris Flynn, has accompanied Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Ronnie Spector, Garland Jeffreys, Willie Nile, and numerous other notable performers, and he has performed in top venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
Spencer LaJoye is making queer indie folk music for everyone. They are a coast-to-coast singer/songwriter and vocal loop artist with Midwest roots, a classically-trained violinist with an inner theater kid’s love of group choreography, and a student of Americana music with a theology degree hanging in their studio. The 2021 Kerrville Songwriting Competition winner and 2024 Songwriter Serenade winner has been writing and touring their autobiographical folk songs for over a decade, but their viral 2021 anthem “Plowshare Prayer” secured them a permanent place in hearts and households across the world, as well as a peculiar career as a veracious songsmith with an unshakeable pastoral presence. Charming and banter-heavy, Spencer’s performances keep audiences laughing one moment and weeping the next.

Reyou Ketamine Treatments, the NJ mental health practice that has delivered more than 8,000 transformative treatments for depression, anxiety, PTSD and other mood disturbances, has opened its 2nd clinic at 908 Oak Tree Road in South Plainfield. The expansion comes as the practice's Howell location is consistently booked, with demand for relief of mental health symptoms surging across Central NJ. The expansion comes as treatment-resistant depression affects an estimated 2.8 million Americans, and most patients still don't know that Spravato — the FDA-approved nasal spray form of ketamine — is covered by most commercial and federally funded insurance plans, including Horizon, Cigna, and Aetna. "People come to us after years of trying medications that didn't work for depression, anxiety, PTSD — they're exhausted. They've lost hope," said Michael Langer, founder of Reyou. "What our team has seen across 8,000 treatments is that ketamine doesn't just relieve symptoms — it gets at the root and gives people a window where real change becomes possible. Our job is to make sure that window is maximized for lasting change." Despite growing clinical evidence and FDA approval, access to ketamine-based treatments in NJ remains limited. Many clinics offer infusions as a standalone service — administer the IV, send the patient home. However, Reyou was built on a different premise. Every treatment at Reyou includes integration support — guided sessions during the critical neuroplasticity window that ketamine creates, designed to help patients process their experience and build lasting change.
