Book Talk: "The Last Four Books I Read" Four Conversations with Jon Plaut

Jon Plaut will discuss the last four books he read — three novels and a travelogue — which are marked by gifted writing and a strong sense of place. Each week he will focus on a different book. It’s not necessary to read the books before attending the programs, but all of them are available at the library for borrowing. The programs are free and no registration is required. Attend one session or all four.

Jon Plaut, a frequent lecturer at the Library, has taught at Ramapo College, Penn State, and Rutgers University. He has written columns on literature and the arts for local newspapers. Mr. Plaut is currently President of Global Learning, Inc., and is a Trustee of the Summit Free Public Library. He has degrees in engineering and law.
