Cyber Bullying by the Summit Police Department

Do your kids have what they need to succeed?  A two-part interactive program will help parents answer this question.  Sponsored as a PACT (Parents and Counselors Together) event by Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School's Guidance and Counseling Department and Prevention Links, the program will be held in the LCJSMS auditorium on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 7:00pm.  Funding for the event is provided by the Summit Area Public Foundation.

The first part of the program will be a presentation on Cyber Bullying by the Summit Police Department's Cyber Bullying Expert Sgt. Tom Rich of Always Connected.  Sgt. Rich will explain to parents how to keep their middle school children safe on the internet.

The second part of the program will be presented by Pamela Capaci, executive director of Prevention Links, who will discuss how parents can develop their children's assets so they will develop into healthy, caring, responsible individuals who are resilient to bullying.  Please RSVP to the program at lcjsmsguidance@gmail.com.
