This 8-week program, taught by instructor Katie Pivarnik, aims to give those coping with Parkinson’s disease, patients and caregivers, an opportunity to express themselves, enjoy a sense of grace and play with music and movement. One may experience therapeutic outcomes; however, the focus of the class is on the dancing, the aesthetics, and the joy created by moving in a new way.
