Kent Place Preschool Open House

The Admission Office at Kent Place School, an independent, nonsectarian, college-preparatory day school for girls and young women with a coed Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten program, announces its fall Open House dates for prospective families. All events will include a brief information session, a tour of the 26-acre campus and the opportunity to meet members of the faculty, administration, parents, students and admission staff.  Please register for all admission events online at www.kentplace.org/admission/dates.

On Saturday, October 20, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in Hauser Hall of the Primary School, there will be an Open House for prospective families and their children interested in The Preschool at Kent Place, a Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten program for boys and girls ages 3-5. Experienced and highly-educated teachers; extremely low student to teacher ratios; state-of-the-art facilities and resources; and a curriculum focused on exploration, creativity and developmentally-appropriate rigor are the hallmark of The Preschool. Kent Place preschool children learn in an atmosphere of caring, trust and freedom in which each child can develop a positive self-image. Beginning in September 2013, the Nursery will meet Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Pre-Kindergarten will meet Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with aftercare available until 6:00 p.m.

In November and December, the Admission Office will host additional Open Houses, Information Sessions and a Community Book Talk with Peg Tyre, author of The Good School.  For event details and to register in advance, please visit, www.kentplace.org/admission/dates.
